New care and reforestation program for the native forests. Come and plant your tree in Patagonia!
On January 8, 2016 we launched 'My Forest Llao Llao,' a care and reforestation program we are developing in an area of our land, together with 'Asociación Civil Sembrar.'
The proposal is to offer all our guests the chance to make their stays more sustainable by donating and, if they so wish, planting a native tree on hotel grounds.
With this action we are recovering depleted areas of native woodlands by using indigenous species. We are simultaneously promoting the development of environmentally learned citizens, aware of the importance of preserving the forest as a natural ecosystem on which life in the region depends.
The activity is part of the program undertaken by 'Asociación Civil Sembrar' called 'Change Is Today,' focusing on the care and protection of nature.
We at Llao Llao believe that forests diversity and care are vital for the ecosystem survival, therefore we invite our guests to join us in this project by donating life for future generations.
Our 'My Llao Llao' frequent guests program and LCC Forest program by Viajes Dannemann have been the first and enthusiastic collaborators of our 'My Forest' program, contributing with the first trees planted on the hotel garden grounds.
